About Cariane

Cariane brings over 25 years of financial and real estate market experience to JJK Advisory. She has an extensive background in customer service from corporate, small business, and charitable organizations. 

Cariane joined JJK Advisory in 2019 to lead clients with project management, customer support and interaction, and office administration.

Prior to joining JJK Advisory, Cariane contracted with Superior Appraisal Services. At Superior, she manages all client activity for a team of five appraisers. Cariane established systems and procedures to manage and track the lifecycle of each client order from inception to billing and payment. Cariane also processes payroll, ensures licenses and continuing education are current, and maintains Superior’s accounting books and records. 

Before Superior, Cariane joined ISI (Evercore ISI Research), an economic research firm in New York. As part of the client service team, she worked with over 30 salespeople and their customers to ensure timely access to research, personnel, and other firm resources. Cariane also managed the client billing process and assisted with broker dealer audit compliance.

Cariane started her career with Chicago Research and Trading as a runner on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade. She was promoted to a trader’s assistant, responsible for confirming and maintaining risk positions in real time.  After CRT was acquired, Cariane and many of the CRT traders moved on to start CCM Futures, a newly formed broker dealer. At CCM, she coordinated all start-up activity including procurement of office space, technology, direct telecom systems, payroll and benefits, and broker dealer registration. Cariane managed the daily operations for a brokerage firm of over 20 traders including individual seat licensing, client billing, and vendor legal agreements.  

Cariane is passionate about addressing all challenges faced with a positive, driven approach that is solutions oriented. This attitude is exemplified by her time serving as co-chair, and then chair of the United Parish Program for her community fund raiser that boasts over 1,000 individual and corporate donors. Cariane has a BA in Sociology from St Norbert College and obtained a residential real estate appraisal license in the state of Illinois.
