About Sean

Sean Ahern graduated from University of Wisconsin – Madison in May 2023 with a BBA in Finance & Real Estate. His coursework at UW included intermediate accounting, financial modeling and analysis, financial markets and securities, investment banking, property appraisal, real estate financing, and financial modeling within Excel and ARGUS.
 

Sean joined JJK Advisory in 2021 as an Associate Analyst. He was a full-time contributor to the JJKA team throughout his Junior and Senior years and has been a full-time employee since graduation. Sean’s primary responsibilities include financial data analysis, client related tax lot reconciliations, research support for client initiatives, and board meeting secretarial support. Internally, Sean leads all office administrative activities including website development, technology vendor management, billing, and company accounting.

Prior to joining JJK Advisory, Sean interned as an Assistant Project Manager at Advantage Industrial Systems in Tomahawk, Wisconsin. Sean has also spent timing volunteering at Misericordia, Minocqua Food Pantry, and Public Action to Deliver Shelter.

Sean was a member of various clubs at UW such as the Fantasy Sport Finance Club and The Wealth Management Group. Apart from his activities in Madison, he served on the board of the non-profit organization, Min-Aqua Bats Water Ski Club as treasurer. 

Sean enjoys spending time outdoors with his friends, water-skiing, and being on the lake.
